Just started my career in this field for a year...don't have much senior here for me to get recommendation from..
Do I really need to take the certification?
What is the career path for BA?
Salary wise, roughly around what amount would I be able to make, lets say, after having 3 yrs of experience?
If I want to strengthen up my skills (through working, not studying)...any specific company should I go for? Like those consulting firm?
Thanks

No need to take certification yet. Try to gain as much as experience as you can. The most important thing is to have a high level of confidence when dealing with your client. What you need the most is the good documentation skills. Trust me, you're going to do lots of documentation in this kind of fields. Also before you agreeing to your client request, try to understand clearly your developer/engineer requirement/constraint first. Else you're going to have hard time with your developer/engineer.

Master your documentation, communixation and multitasking skill bruh. And also domain knowledge on your item, product, system must be strong. I've been experiencing BA role , susah kalau domain knowledge not that strong and all those skills just as basic level.

Most business will want candidate with experience, entry level also need people in Business only. Probably people with similar skill set can do the job. But alot of business will want working experience now.

Salary depends on which company you will be working and you experience.

For me I was having problems with diagnosing why certain business have certain problems. I think this is a big issue for a business analyst, you know because your responsibility is to analyze. I am very slow with the process and I know i need to do something about it. Just glad that i go to learn and it definitely helps add knowledge about analyzing business problems. Now im sticking with those process, now my job is whole lot easier hahaha.

Dont worry about that, I got into the field with just a cert bro. But you may need to have get your skills updated. I went to Branding & Marketing masterclass by this company. This is the class that i went before i get to move to a new job. roar-point.com/marketing-branding-masterclass/
